Neil is a highly qualified expert practitioner and theorist in the Microsoft environment. He has a 1st class degree in computer science from the University of Bristol, and an outstanding range of experience in the most advanced areas of IT.

An ex-IBMer who worked at Shell, NatWest and Pearl Assurance, he was most recently at a leading loss adjuster developing systems in the .Net environment.

Neil has worked with NaMax to produce a sophisticated search application which allowed a large number of documents to be investigated for instances of keywords. As an added complication, many of the texts used Cyrillic script. Neil's application searched through the documents and produced a database of results with hyperlinks back to the original documents. At the time of development, no commercially available document management or keyword searching software existed.
